Alma 35:6

And it came to pass that after they had found out the minds of all the people, those which were in favor of the words which had been spoken by Alma and his brethren, were cast out of the land; and they were many; and they came over also into the land of Jershon.

After they found out what all the people thought, they forced out everyone who agreed with what Alma and his brothers had said. There were many of them. They also went to the land of Jershon.

Once they knew where people stood, they drove out everyone who agreed with Alma and his companions. There were quite a few—and they all fled to Jershon.
