therefore, if ye do not remember to be charitable, ye are as dross, which the refiners do cast out, (it being of no worth,) and is trodden under foot of men.

Influences

Matthew 5:13 (KJV)
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Changes

tTherefore, if ye do not remember to be charitable, ye are as dross, which the refiners do cast out, (it being of no worth,) and is trodden under foot of men.

Simple English

If you do not remember to be kind, you are like trash that workers throw out. It is worth nothing and people walk on it.

Paraphrase

If you forget to be charitable, you’re like slag that refiners throw out as worthless—trampled underfoot.
