Alma 32:16

therefore blessed are they who humbleth themselves without being compelled to be humble; or rather, in other words, blessed is he that believeth in the word of God, and is baptized without stubbornness of heart; yea, without being brought to know the word, or even compelled to know, before they will believe.

God blesses people who choose to be humble without being forced. Or you can say it this way: God blesses the person who believes in God’s word and is baptized without a stubborn heart. This is better than being forced to know the word or being forced to know before you will believe.

“So blessed are those who humble themselves without being forced to. Or to put it another way: blessed is the person who believes God’s word and is baptized without a stubborn heart—without needing to be dragged to the truth or forced to know before they’ll believe.”
