Alma 30:51

And now when the Chief Judge saw this, he put forth his hand and wrote unto Korihor, saying: Art thou convinced of the power of a God? In whom did ye desire that Alma should shew forth his sign? Would ye that he should afflict others, to shew unto thee a sign? Behold, he hath showed unto you a sign; and now, will ye dispute more?

Simple English

When the chief judge saw this, he wrote to Korihor: Are you now convinced of God’s power? Who did you want Alma to show his sign to? Did you want him to hurt others to show you a sign? He has shown you a sign. Will you argue more?

Paraphrase

When the chief judge saw this, he reached out and wrote to Korihor: “Are you convinced of God’s power now? Who did you want Alma to show a sign to? Did you want him to hurt others to prove it to you? Look—he’s shown you a sign. Will you still argue?”
