Alma 30:49

Now Alma saith unto him, This will I give unto thee for a sign, that thou shalt be struck dumb, according to my words; and I say, that in the name of God, that ye shall be struck dumb, that ye shall no more have utterance.

Alma said to him: This is the sign I will give you. You will be struck unable to speak, just like I said. I say in God’s name that you will be struck unable to speak. You will not be able to talk anymore.

Alma said, “I’ll give you this sign: you’ll be struck unable to speak, just as I’ve said. In God’s name, you will lose your ability to speak.”
