Alma 30:27

and thus ye lead away this people after the foolish traditions of your fathers, and according to your own desires; and ye keep them down, even as it were, in bondage, that ye may glut yourselves with the labors of their hands, that they durst not look up with boldness, and that they durst not enjoy their rights and privileges;

You lead these people away following the foolish traditions of your fathers and your own wants. You keep them down, like they’re trapped. You take the work of their hands for yourself. They don’t dare to look up with confidence. They don’t dare to enjoy their rights and freedoms.

“That’s how you lead people astray—following the foolish traditions of your ancestors and your own desires. You keep them down in bondage so you can get rich off their hard work. They don’t dare look up with confidence or enjoy their rights and freedoms.”
