And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me; yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me;

When I see many of my brothers and sisters truly sorry for their sins and coming to the Lord their God, I feel great joy. Then I remember what the Lord has done for me. He heard my prayer. I remember how he showed me mercy.

Paraphrase

When I see my brothers truly repenting and coming back to the Lord, my heart overflows. I remember what the Lord did for me—how he heard my prayer, how he reached out his merciful hand to me.
