Alma 28:3

Yea, and also there was a tremendous slaughter among the people of Nephi; nevertheless, the Lamanites were driven and scattered, and the people of Nephi returned again to their land.

Many Nephites were also killed. But the Lamanites were pushed back and ran away. The Nephites went back to their land.

But the Nephites suffered terrible losses too. Still, the Lamanites were driven back, and the Nephites returned home.
