Now was not this exceeding joy? Behold, this is joy which none receiveth save it be the truly penitent and humble seeker of happiness.

Wasn’t this a lot of joy? This is the kind of joy that only people get when they truly feel sorry for their sins and humbly look for happiness.

Can you imagine such joy? This is the kind of joy only the truly repentant receive—only those who humbly seek real happiness.
