And it came to pass that after Aaron had expounded these things unto him, the king saith, What shall I do, that I may have this Eternal life of which thou hast spoken? Yea, what shall I do, that I may be born of God, having this wicked spirit rooted out of my breast, and receive his spirit, that I may be filled with joy, that I may not be cast off at the last day? Behold, saith he, I will give up all that I possess; yea, I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great joy.

Simple English
After Aaron had explained these things to him, the king said: What should I do so that I can have this life that lasts forever? What should I do so that I can be born of God? I want this evil spirit torn out of my heart. I want to receive his Spirit so that I can be filled with joy. I do not want to be thrown away at the last day. He said: I will give up everything I have. I will leave my kingdom so that I can receive this great joy.
Paraphrase
After Aaron finished explaining, the king asked, 'What do I need to do to have this eternal life you’re talking about? What do I do to be born of God, to have this wicked spirit torn out of me and receive his Spirit so I can be filled with joy and not be cut off at the last day?' He paused. 'I’ll give up everything I have. I’ll even abandon my kingdom for this great joy.'
