Alma 20:19

Now when Ammon had said these words unto him, he answered him, saying: I know that if I should slay my son, that I should shed innocent blood; for it is thou that hast sought to destroy him:

When Ammon said these words to him, he answered, “I know that if I kill my son, I would kill an innocent man. But you are the one who has tried to destroy him.”

The king answered, “I know that if I killed my son, I’d be shedding innocent blood. It’s you who’s tried to destroy him!”
