Alma 14:6

And it also came to pass that Zeezrom was astonished at the words which had been spoken; and he also knew concerning the blindness of the minds which he had caused among the people, by his lying words; and his soul began to be harrowed up, under a consciousness of his own guilt; yea, he began to be encircled about by the pains of hell.

Zeezrom was shocked by the words that had been spoken. He knew about the confusion he had caused among the people with his lies. His soul began to hurt because he felt guilty. The pains of hell started to surround him.

Meanwhile, Zeezrom was stunned by what Alma had said. He realized how his lies had blinded people’s minds. The weight of his guilt began crushing him. He felt the pains of hell closing in.
