Now when Alma had spoken these words, Zeezrom began to tremble more exceedingly, for he was convinced more and more of the power of God; and he was also convinced that Alma and Amulek had a knowledge of him, for he was convinced that they knew the thoughts and intents of his heart: for power was given unto them that they might know of these things, according to the spirit of prophecy.

Simple English

When Alma said this, Zeezrom shook even more. He became more and more sure of God’s power. He became sure that Alma and Amulek knew about him. He was sure they knew his thoughts and what he planned to do. God had given them power to know these things by the Spirit.

Paraphrase

When Alma said this, Zeezrom began to tremble even more. He was becoming more and more convinced of God’s power. He could see that Alma and Amulek truly knew him—they knew his thoughts and motives. The Spirit of prophecy had given them that power.
