And now behold I say unto you, then cometh a death, even a second death, which is a spiritual death; then is a time that whosoever dieth in his sins, as to the temporal death, shall also die a spiritual death; yea, he shall die as to things pertaining unto righteousness;

Changes

Simple English

Then comes a second death. This is a spiritual death. Anyone who dies still doing wrong things will also die a spiritual death. They will die as to anything good.

Paraphrase

“Then there’s another kind of death—a second death, which is a spiritual death. When someone dies physically while still trapped in their sins, they also die spiritually. They die to everything that has to do with righteousness.
