Alma 12:14

for our words will condemn us, yea, all our work will condemn us; we shall not be found spotless; and our thoughts will also condemn us; and in this awful state, we shall not durst look up to our God; and we would fain be glad if we could command the rocks and the mountains to fall upon us, to hide us from his presence.

Our words will show we are guilty. All our actions will show we are guilty. We will not be clean. Our thoughts will also show we are guilty. In this terrible situation, we won’t be able to look at God. We will wish rocks and mountains would fall on us to hide us from him.

“Our own words will condemn us. Our actions will condemn us. We won’t be spotless. Even our thoughts will condemn us. In that awful moment, we won’t dare look up at God. We’ll wish we could tell the mountains and rocks to fall on us and hide us from his presence.
