Alma 1:14

therefore thou art condemned to die, according to the law which has been given us by Mosiah, our last king; and they have been acknowledged by this people; therefore this people must abide by the law.

So you must die. This is the law that Mosiah, our last king, gave us. The people agreed to this law. So we must follow it.

“So you’re sentenced to death, according to the law King Mosiah gave us. The people have accepted that law, so we must follow it.”
