and they began to be divided into classes, and they began to build up churches unto themselves, to get gain, and began to deny the true church of Christ.

They split into different groups. They started building churches to make money. They stopped believing in Christ’s true church.

They split into social classes. They started building churches for profit, turning their backs on Christ’s true church.
