3 Nephi 9:8

And behold, the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah, and the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno, all these have I caused to be sunk, and made hills and valleys in the places thereof, and the inhabitants thereof have I buried up in the depths of the earth, to hide their wickedness and abominations from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints should not come up any more unto me against them.—

“I made the city of Gadiandi sink. I made the city of Gadiomnah sink. I made the city of Jacob sink. I made the city of Gimgimno sink. Where these cities were, I made hills and valleys. I buried the people deep in the ground. This hid their sins and bad things from me. The blood of the prophets and good people will not cry out to me against them anymore.”

“The cities of Gadiandi, Gadiomnah, Jacob, and Gimgimno—I sank them all. Where they once stood, I made hills and valleys. I buried their people in the depths of the earth to hide their wickedness and corruption from my sight, so that the blood of the prophets and the faithful would no longer cry out to me against them.”
