3 Nephi 9:11

and because they did cast them all out, that there were none righteous among them, I did send down fire and destroy them, that their wickedness and abominations might be hid from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints which I sent among them, might not cry unto me from the ground against them;

“They threw out all the good people. So I sent down fire and destroyed them. This hid their sins and bad things from me. The blood of the prophets and good people I sent will not cry to me from the ground against them.”

“They drove out every last righteous person. Not one good person remained. So I sent fire down and destroyed them all, to hide their wickedness and corruption from my sight, so that the blood of the prophets and the faithful I sent to them would not cry out to me from the ground.”
