3 Nephi 9:10

And behold, the city of Laman, and the city of Josh, and the city of Gad, and the city of Kishkumen, have I caused to be burned with fire, and the inhabitants thereof, because of their wickedness in casting out the prophets, and stoning them which I did send to declare unto them concerning their wickedness and their abominations;

“I burned the city of Laman with fire. I burned the city of Josh. I burned the city of Gad. I burned the city of Kishkumen. I burned the people who lived there. They were wicked. They threw out the prophets. They threw rocks at the prophets I sent to tell them about their sins and bad things.”

“The cities of Laman, Josh, Gad, and Kishkumen—I burned them all with fire, along with their people, because of their wickedness in driving out the prophets I sent to warn them about their evil and corruption. They stoned the messengers I sent.”
