And they all spake, save it were three, saying, We desire that after we have lived unto the age of man, that our ministry, wherein thou hast called us, may have an end, that we may speedily come unto thee, in thy kingdom.

Simple English

All of them except three said, “We want our work to end when we have lived a normal life. Then we can come to you quickly in your kingdom.”

Paraphrase

All but three answered, “We want to finish our ministry after living a full life, and then come quickly to be with you in your kingdom.”
