3 Nephi 28:16

But it came to pass that they did again minister upon the face of the earth; nevertheless they did not minister of the things which they had heard and seen, because of the commandment which was given them in heaven.

But they came back to earth and taught the people. But they did not teach about the things they had heard and seen. This was because of what they were told in heaven.

Later, they came back down to earth and continued their ministry. But they didn’t teach about what they’d heard and seen, because they’d been commanded not to in heaven.
