if they be good, to the resurrection of everlasting life; and if they be evil, to the resurrection of damnation, being on a parallel, the one on the one hand, and the other on the other hand, according to the mercy, and the justice, and the holiness which is in Christ, which was before the world began.

Simple English

If their works were good, they will have eternal life. If their works were bad, they will be judged and punished. One group will be on one side and the other group will be on the other side. This is because of the mercy, justice, and holiness that is in Christ. This was true even before the world began.

Paraphrase

If their works are good, they’ll rise to eternal life. If evil, they’ll rise to damnation. Two destinies running parallel—one on one side, one on the other—all according to the mercy, justice, and holiness that is in Christ, which existed before the world began.
