and even unto the great and last day, when all people, and all kindreds, and all nations and tongues shall stand before God, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil:

He told them about the great and last day. On that day all people, all families, all nations and languages will stand before God. They will be judged for what they did. God will judge if their works were good or if they were bad.
