But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of his judgement. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell-fire;

But I say to you this. Whoever is angry with his brother will be judged. Whoever calls his brother a fool will be in danger of hell’s fire.

Paraphrase

“But I tell you: anyone who’s angry with his brother will face judgment. Anyone who calls his brother worthless will face the council. Anyone who calls him a fool is in danger of hell itself.”
