2 Nephi 6:11

Wherefore, after they are driven to and fro, for thus saith the angel, many shall be afflicted in the flesh and shall not be suffered to perish, because of the prayers of the faithful: wherefore, they shall be scattered, and smitten, and hated; nevertheless, the Lord will be merciful unto them, that when they shall come to the knowledge of their Redeemer, they shall be gathered together again to the lands of their inheritance.

So they will be pushed around. The angel said many will have hard times in their bodies. But they won’t die because good people will pray for them. They will be scattered and struck and hated. But the Lord will be kind to them. When they learn about their Savior, they will be brought back together to the lands they own.

They’ll be driven from place to place—the angel said many will suffer physically, but they won’t be wiped out completely because faithful people will pray for them. So they’ll be scattered, beaten, and hated. But the Lord will show them mercy. When they finally come to know their Redeemer, they’ll be gathered back to their own lands.
