And then are ye in this straight and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate: ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, which witness of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, That if ye entered in by the way, ye should receive.

Simple English
Then you are on the straight and narrow path that leads to living forever. You have gone through the gate. You have done what the Father and the Son said to do. You have gotten the Holy Spirit. He tells you about the Father and the Son. He keeps the promise that was made: If you go in through this way, you will get it.
Paraphrase
Once you’re on this straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life—once you’ve entered through the gate—you’ve done what the Father and the Son commanded. You’ve received the Holy Spirit, who testifies of the Father and the Son, fulfilling the promise: if you enter by the way, you will receive.
