2 Nephi 28:14

They wear stiff necks, and high heads; yea, and because of pride, and wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms, they have all gone astray, save it be a few, which are the humble followers of Christ; nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err, because they are taught by the precepts of men.

They are stubborn and proud. Because of pride, sin, bad things, and sexual sins, they have all gone the wrong way. Only a few humble followers of Christ remain. But even they are led to make mistakes, because they are taught by people’s ideas.

They’re stubborn and arrogant. Pride, wickedness, terrible sins, and sexual immorality have led them all astray—except for a few humble followers of Christ. But even they are often misled because they’re taught human traditions instead of God’s truth.
