2 Nephi 25:10

Wherefore, it hath been told them concerning the destruction which should come upon them, immediately after my father left Jerusalem; nevertheless, they hardened their hearts; and according to my prophecy, they have been destroyed, save it be those which are carried away captive into Babylon.

So they were told about the destruction that would come. This happened right after my father left Jerusalem. But they made their hearts hard. Just like I said would happen, they were destroyed. Only the people who were taken to Babylon were not destroyed.

They were told about the coming destruction right after my father left Jerusalem. But they refused to listen. Just as I prophesied, they’ve been destroyed—except for those carried away captive to Babylon.
