And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind he shall shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dry shod.

Simple English

The Lord will completely dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea. He will wave his powerful hand over the river. He will hit it and divide it into seven streams. People will be able to walk across in sandals.

Paraphrase

The Lord will completely dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea. With his scorching wind he’ll wave his hand over the Euphrates River, splitting it into seven shallow streams that anyone can cross on foot.
