And it came to pass that I did frankly forgive them all that they had done, and I did exhort them that they would pray unto the Lord their God, for forgiveness. And it came to pass that they did so. And after that they had done praying unto the Lord, we did again travel on our journey toward the tent of our father.

Simple English

I freely forgave them for everything they had done. I encouraged them to pray to the Lord their God for forgiveness. They did pray. After they finished praying to the Lord, we continued traveling toward our father’s tent.

Paraphrase

I forgave them immediately and completely. I urged them to pray to God for forgiveness too. They did, and afterward we continued our journey to my father’s tent.
