Now, behold, I say unto you, that if ye will return unto Jerusalem, ye shall also perish with them. And now, if ye have choice, go up to the land, and remember the words which I speak unto you, that if ye go, ye will also perish; for thus the spirit of the Lord constraineth me that I should speak.

Simple English

If you go back to Jerusalem, you will die with them. If you have a choice, go to the land, but remember what I’m telling you. If you go, you will die too. The Spirit of the Lord tells me to say this.

Paraphrase

“Listen to me: if you go back to Jerusalem, you’ll die with them. Go ahead if that’s what you want—but remember my warning. If you go back, you’ll die. The Spirit is compelling me to tell you this.”
