And now I, Nephi, being a man large in stature, and also having received much strength of the Lord, therefore I did seize upon the servant of Laban, and held him, that he should not flee.
Simple English
I was a big, strong man. The Lord had also made me very strong. So I grabbed Laban’s servant and held him so he couldn’t run away.
Paraphrase
Now I was a big, strong man, and God had given me extra strength. I grabbed the servant before he could escape.
