Yea, and I also thought that they could not keep the commandments of the Lord according to the law of Moses, save they should have the law.

I also thought that they could not obey the Lord’s commands according to Moses’ law unless they had the law.

I realized they couldn’t keep God’s commandments—they couldn’t follow the law of Moses—without having the law itself.
