1 Nephi 4:14

And now, when I, Nephi, had heard these words, I remembered the words of the Lord which he spake unto me in the wilderness, saying, that inasmuch as thy seed shall keep my commandments, they shall prosper in the land of promise.

When I heard these words, I remembered what the Lord told me in the desert. He said: If your children obey my commands, they will do well in the promised land.

Hearing this, I remembered what God had told me in the wilderness: “If your children keep my commandments, they will thrive in the promised land.”
