1 Nephi 22:8

And after that our seed is scattered, the Lord God will proceed to do a marvellous work among the Gentiles, which shall be of great worth unto our seed; wherefore, it is likened unto the being nourished by the Gentiles, and being carried in their arms, and upon their shoulders.

After our descendants are scattered, the Lord God will do an amazing work among the other nations. This work will be very helpful to our descendants. It is like being fed and cared for by those nations, carried in their arms and on their shoulders.

“After our descendants are scattered, the Lord will do something amazing among the Gentiles. It will be incredibly valuable to our people—that’s what the prophecy means about being nursed by the Gentiles, carried in their arms and on their shoulders.”
