1 Nephi 2:1

For behold it came to pass that the Lord spake unto my father, yea, even in a dream, and sayeth unto him, Blessed art thou Lehi, because of the things which thou hast done; and because thou hast been faithful and declared unto this people the things which I commanded thee, behold they seek to take away thy life.

The Lord spoke to my father in a dream. He said to him: “God blesses you, Lehi, because of the good things you have done. You have been faithful and told this people what I commanded you to tell them. But they want to kill you.”

The Lord spoke to my father in a dream: “Lehi, you’re blessed. You’ve done what I asked—you’ve been faithful and warned these people about what’s coming. Now they want to kill you.”
