1 Nephi 17:6

And it came to pass that we did pitch our tents by the seashore; and notwithstanding we had suffered many afflictions, and much difficulty, yea, even so much that we cannot write them all, we were exceedingly rejoiced when we came to the seashore; and we called the place Bountiful, because of its much fruit.

We set up our tents by the seashore. We had suffered many hard times. There were so many we can’t write them all. But we were very happy when we reached the seashore. We called the place Bountiful because it had lots of fruit.

We set up camp by the shore. After all our suffering and troubles—too many to even write about—we were overjoyed to reach the sea. We called the place Bountiful because of all the fruit.
