Changes

And we did come to the land which we called Bountiful, because of its much fruit, and also, wild honey; and all these things were prepared of the Lord, that we might not perish. And we beheld the Ssea, which we called Irreantum, which, being interpreted, is, many waters.

Simple English

We came to a land we called Bountiful. It had lots of fruit and wild honey. The Lord prepared all these things so we wouldn’t die. We saw the sea, which we called Irreantum. This means “many waters.”

Paraphrase

Finally we reached a land we named Bountiful because it was full of fruit trees and wild honey—everything God had prepared to keep us alive. We saw the ocean and called it Irreantum, which means “many waters.”
