Wherefore, it came to pass that after Amaleki had delivered up these plates into the hands of king Benjamin, he took them and put them with the other plates, which contained records which had been handed down by the kings, from generation to generation, until the days of king Benjamin.

After Amaleki gave these plates to King Benjamin, he took them and put them with the other plates. These other plates had records that the kings had passed down from one generation to the next, all the way to King Benjamin’s time.

After Amaleki gave these plates to King Benjamin, Benjamin added them to the other plates—the royal records that had been passed down from king to king, generation after generation, until his time.
