Mosiah 8:2

and he caused that Ammon should stand up before the multitude, and rehearse unto them all that had happened unto their brethren, from the time that Zeniff went up out of the land, even until the time that he, himself came up out of the land.

He asked Ammon to stand up in front of the crowd. Ammon told them everything that happened to their relatives from the time Zeniff left the land until Ammon came to them.

Then he had Ammon stand before the large crowd and tell them everything that had happened to their relatives from the time Zeniff left until Ammon himself arrived.
