Mosiah 8:16

And Ammon saith, That a seer is a revelator, and a prophet also; and a gift which is greater, can no man have, except he should possess the power of God, which no man can; yet a man may have great power given him from God.

Ammon said: “A seer is someone who gets messages from God. He is also a prophet. No one can have a greater gift unless they have God’s power, which no one can have. But God can give someone great power.”

Ammon replied, “A seer is a revelator and a prophet too. No one can have a greater gift except by possessing the power of God himself, which no one can. Still, God can give someone great power.”
