Mosiah 6:7

And king Mosiah did cause his people that they should till the earth. And he also, himself did till the earth, that thereby he might not become burthensome to his people, that he might do according to that which his father had done, in all things. And there was no contention among all his people, for the space of three years.

King Mosiah told his people to work in their fields and grow food. He worked in the fields too. He did not want to be a burden to his people. He wanted to do the same good things his father had done. All his people got along well for three years. They did not fight with each other.

King Mosiah had his people farm the land. He worked the soil himself so he wouldn’t be a burden to anyone—just like his father had done. For three years there wasn’t a single conflict among all his people.
