And they all cried with one voice, saying, Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which hath wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.

Changes

Simple English

All the people shouted together: “Yes, we believe all the words you have spoken to us! We know they are true because of the Spirit of the Lord God. He has made a big change in us and in our hearts. We don’t want to do bad things anymore. We only want to do good things.”

Paraphrase

They answered with one voice: “Yes! We believe everything you’ve said. And we know it’s true because of the Spirit of the Lord Almighty. He’s changed us completely—changed our hearts—so that we don’t want to do evil anymore. All we want now is to do good.”
