Mosiah 4:26

And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you; that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God, I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick, and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants,

“I have told you these things so you can keep your sins forgiven every day and live without guilt before God. So I want you to share what you have with poor people. Give according to what you have. Feed hungry people. Give clothes to people who need them. Visit sick people and help them. Help them with both spiritual and physical needs.”

For the sake of everything I’ve said—so you can keep your forgiveness fresh day by day and walk without guilt before God—share what you have with the poor. Everyone should give according to what they have: feed the hungry, clothe those with nothing to wear, visit the sick, and help them in every way you can, both spiritually and physically, according to their needs.
