And they did admonish their brethren; and they were also admonished, every one, by the word of God, according to his sins, or to the sins which he had committed; being commanded of God to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all things.

Simple English

They warned their brothers. God’s word also warned each person about the sins they had done. God told them to pray all the time and to give thanks for everything.

Paraphrase

They confronted fellow believers when needed. And each person was confronted by God’s word according to their sins—whatever they’d done wrong. They were commanded to pray constantly and give thanks in everything.
