And now the Lord said unto Alma, Haste thee and get thou and this people out of this land, for the Lamanites have awoke and doth pursue thee; therefore get thee out of this land, and I will stop the Lamanites in this valley, that they come no further in pursuit of this people.

Changes

And now the Lord said unto Alma,: Haste thee and get thou and this people out of this land, for the Lamanites have awoakened and doth pursue thee; therefore get thee out of this land, and I will stop the Lamanites in this valley, that they come no further in pursuit of this people.

Simple English

Then the Lord said to Alma: “Hurry! Get your people out of this land. The Lamanites have woken up. They are chasing you. So leave this land. I will stop the Lamanites in this valley. They won’t chase you any farther.”

Paraphrase

Then the Lord said to Alma, “Hurry! Get out of this land. The Lamanites have woken up and are chasing you. Leave now. I’ll stop the Lamanites in this valley so they can’t follow any farther.”
