But remember the iniquity of king Noah and his priests: and I myself was caught in a snare, and did many things which was abominable in the sight of the Lord, which caused me sore repentance;

Simple English

“Remember the bad things King Noah and his priests did. I was caught in a trap too. I did many things that were wrong in the Lord’s sight. This caused me great sorrow.”

Paraphrase

“But remember the evil King Noah did, and his priests? I got caught up in it myself. I did things that were disgusting to God. It tore me apart.”
