Mosiah 23:33

And it came to pass that Amulon did plead with the Lamanites; and he also sent forth their wives, which was the daughters of the Lamanites, to plead with their brethren, that they should not destroy their husbands.

Amulon begged the Lamanites for mercy. He also sent their wives to beg for them. These wives were daughters of the Lamanites. They asked their people not to kill their husbands.
