Mosiah 23:12

And now I say unto you, As ye have been oppressed by king Noah, and have been in bondage to him and his priests, and have been brought into iniquity by them; therefore ye were bound with the bands of iniquity.

'I say to you: King Noah hurt you. You were slaves to him and his priests. They led you to do wrong things. So you were trapped by sin.'

'Here’s what I want you to understand: King Noah oppressed you. You were trapped under him and his priests. They dragged you into sin. You were bound by it.'
